Pullovers and Jackets

Measure your chest size without tightening the measuring tape too much, then look up the corresponding size in the charts below. If you hesitate between two sizes always choose the bigger of the two. Once you receive your product try it on, and remember that no two manufacturers have exactly the same size charts, especially in hand made products, and it is not unusual to have a small margin of variety in measurements.

Caps and Hats

To choose your size take a measuring tape and measure the circumference of your head an inch above your ear. It might be easier to ask your wife or partner to do this for you. If you don’t have a flexible measuring tape then use a bit of string which you then measure flat against a ruler. Choose the size which corresponds on the size chart below. Again, if you hesitate between two sizes then choose the larger as hats and caps tend to shrink a half size when worn in the rain a lot. Never dry you hat or cap on a radiator or lease it on the back shelf of the car in strong sunlight.

Kilts

Take the measurement of your waist as for trousers and decide on the attached grill which size is the most appropriate for you. Bear in mind that the kilt is fastened by leather straps and therefore has a certain amount of flexibility regarding size. By this I mean, if you are a tad bigger then the biggest size don’t worry, you can get an inch extra with the straps.
